The Wheelchair Project was aimed to help people regain their mobility and independence. It was a joint charitable venture between AAHP-UK, The Karen Woo Foundation and Baaz Foundation (Afghanistan). Upon completion of the project, 37 disabled people in Nangarhar province (Afghanistan) were provided with wheelchairs. Nurses warn of mental health services strain

Staff cuts and bed shortages are leaving mental health services "under unprecedented strain", says the nurses' union.
