Khwaja jam clinic is just few hundred yards off the main road, connecting city of Kabul and Company. The clinic has a catchment area of 5 X 5 miles of densely populated locality where most of the people are poor and earning their livelihood though manual labour while working in the city of Kabul.

According to the local elders, almost 60,000 people live in the catchment area of khwaja jam and it has been providing healthcare services to its local population for nearly three decades. The clinic has 7 employees, which includes a doctor, two vaccinators, a nurse/midwife, one CHC (community supervisor), a guard and one cleaner.

Khwaja Jam clinic has been supported by the AAHP-UK for a number of years.
