Our Mission
At AAHP-UK, we are committed to alleviating hunger and supporting vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. Our food distribution initiative has successfully delivered essential supplies to several provinces, reaching thousands of families in need. Each household received staple foods such as rice and cooking oil, along with proteins like beans. This initiative not only provided immediate relief but also promoted health and nutrition, fostering resilience in these communities. We are deeply grateful for the support of our donors and volunteers, whose generosity and dedication have made this critical work possible.

June 2024
Baghlan
AAHP-UK supported 75 vulnerable families in Baghlan province with emergency food packages worth £4,056. Additionally, a two-day medical camp funded by AAHP-UK, worth £3,592, treated 1,329 patients and distributed 250 hygiene kits with clean water, soap, and sanitiser, showcasing our commitment to urgent food and healthcare needs in the region.
June 2024
Takhar
In response to the floods in Takhar province, AAHP-UK provided emergency food packages worth £4,056 to support 75 vulnerable families, ensuring essential relief during this critical time.
May 2024
Badghis & Ghor
In response to floods in Badghis and Ghor, AAHP-UK distributed emergency food packages worth 1.2 million Afghanis, supporting 100 families in each province and reaching a total of 1,400 beneficiaries in need.
January 2024
Herat
In response to the Herat earthquake, AAHP-UK provided emergency food packages worth £18,000 to 247 families and distributed £7,000 in cash assistance to 70 families, with each receiving £100 to help rebuild their lives.
April 2022
Nangarhar
Together with the Khatiz Public Health Association (KPHA), we delivered our second distribution of highly nutritious food packages to 70 needy families in Nangarhar. The KPHA volunteer team were on the ground delivering food packages on April 26, 2022.
March 2022
Kapisa, Wardak and Kunar
Thanks to your generous support, AAHP-UK, in collaboration with two Afghan charities, provided 121 highly nutritious food packages to families with malnourished children in Kapisa, Wardak, and Kunar provinces. The distribution took place in March 2022.
January 2022
Badakhshan
In January 2022, we distributed 100 emergency food packages to families in Kishm district, Badakhshan province. Each package contained 49 kg of wheat, 21 kg of rice, 3 kg of beans, 3 kg of sugar, 5 liters of cooking oil, and 1 kg of tea. The distribution occurred on January 15, 2022.
October 2021
Panjshir
We delivered 105 food packages to eligible families in Malsapa village, located in the Bazark region of Panjshir province.
May 2020
Ghor
With financial support from AAHP-UK, we provided 98 families in Ghor province with essential food packages to help alleviate hunger in the community.
November 2021
Kandahar
Food packages were distributed in Kandahar province to support families in need, ensuring they received vital supplies to cope with food shortages.
