Our Mission
The Association of Afghan Healthcare Professionals UK (AAHPUK) is dedicated to helping Afghan doctors residing in the UK requalify to practice medicine. Through our WhatsApp platform, we connect Afghan healthcare professionals, enabling them to share knowledge, opportunities, and experiences. We provide mentorship for PLAB 1 and 2 exams, offer guidance on navigating the UK medical system, and, when possible, provide financial support (where available) to cover requalification costs. Our annual meetings foster a sense of community, allowing members to report on progress, learn from one another, and strengthen professional networks.
We also encourage Afghan doctors to gain experience in UK healthcare environments, such as hospitals and clinics, to deepen their medical knowledge and enhance job readiness. At AAHPUK, we are committed to empowering Afghan doctors to overcome barriers and succeed in their journey to requalify and practice medicine in the UK.
