Free Medical Camps

Afghanistan
Ongoing Project

Our Mission

AAHP-UK is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility for underserved communities in Afghanistan through its Free Medical Camps initiative. These camps aim to deliver quality healthcare services, address the immediate medical needs of vulnerable populations, and raise awareness about public health and hygiene.

Each camp is carefully planned and executed in collaboration with local partner organisations, ensuring cultural and logistical alignment. They are staffed by volunteer teams that include specialised doctors, general practitioners, and allied health professionals, supported by local volunteers. The camps operate various sections, such as general medicine, pharmacy, health education, and public relations, all coordinated to provide seamless service delivery.

The Free Medical Camps provide not only diagnostic and treatment services but also essential medicines, referrals for advanced care when needed, and education on preventative health practices. They are funded by generous contributions from donors, underscoring the collective effort to enhance healthcare in regions where it is most needed.

This initiative reflects AAHP-UK’s commitment to responding to healthcare challenges in a way that is sustainable, impactful, and aligned with the immediate needs of Afghan communities.
