Thalassemia Project

In 2017, we began supporting dozens of children with Thalassemia by providing essential medication to help them lead relatively normal lives. Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder requiring regular blood transfusions, which lead to excessive iron accumulation. Our life-saving medication prevents this iron buildup in their bodies. Today, we assist over 1200 children, many of whom come from very disadvantaged backgrounds. We also offer financial assistance to their families, as well as providing nutritional milk drinks, educational materials, computers and TVs. This is an ongoing project, and we aim to raise more funds to provide additional support.
